This 2-day workshop provides school-based mental health professionals and other school crisis intervention team members with the knowledge necessary to meet the mental health needs of students and staff following a school-associated crisis event.

PREPaRE is one of the first comprehensive nationally available training curricula developed by school-based professionals with firsthand experience and formal training.  The model incorporates foundation knowledge provided by the U.S. Departments of Education and Homeland Security.  It also incorporates the incident command structure as delineated by the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

Workshop Presenters: Bethanie Brogli-Opell and Penny Mills, School Psychologists and Certified PREPaRE Trainers

Training will take place from 8:30-4:00 Central on both days.  You must attend both days in full to receive credit/certification.
