The CAMS training has been re-scheduled for Thursday, May 7th. It will be held at the same facility: the Perkins Building on EKU’s campus. If you are registered for the March 6th training, you should have received an email* with instructions on what you need to do. After we hear from currently registered participants, we will open up registration in April, if there are any available slots.

For those who are unable to attend the May 7th training, there is now an online training module option. It can be accessed via The cost is $159/person, but the price may be adjusted based on higher volume in agencies and institutions that want multiple clinicians trained.


 Collaborative Assessment & Management of Suicidality  (CAMS Training)

A workshop co-sponsored by Eastern Kentucky University’s Psychology Program and the Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools

2013 Kentucky legislation requires that beginning in January 2015, all licensed behavioral health providers must be trained in suicide prevention/ suicidality.  (Providers must meet this requirement every 6 years.)

Join us for a day of training on the CAMS approach that includes assessment and role modeling. This is the gold standard of suicidality intervention.
